On October 30, the 2020"Hundreds of Beijing Enterprises Entering Chengde" Event and Chengde Investment Promotion and Negotiation Conference were held at Chengde Jiahe International Hotel. Chairman Li Yong was invited to lead Zhang Chunhu, Executive Vice President of the Group, Liu Zhenxiang, General Manager of the Investment Department, Zhao Fazhong, General Manager of the Planning Department, Zhang Linran, Secretary to the Chairman, and Shan Haipeng, Marketing Director of Chinayong Lighting, a subsidiary of the Groupto attend the Conference. They also conducted on-site inspections of projects in Luanping County, Chengde City. Zhou Zhongming, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Hebei Provincial People's Congress and Secretary of the Chengde Municipal Party Committee, attended the event and delivered a promotional address. Xu Zongjun, Deputy Director of the Beijing Investment Promotion Bureau, attended and delivered a speech. He elaborated on Chengde's functional positioning, unique advantages and the "3+3" leading industries. He stated that Chengde is a water conservation functional area of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei (Jing-Jin-Ji) region, an ecological environment support area in the northwest of the Jing-Jin-Ji region, the birthplace of the Saihanba Spirit, and an Innovation Demonstration Zone for the Sustainable Development Agenda (national-level), as designated personally by General Secretary Xi Jinping. In the coordinated development of the Jing-Jin-Ji region, Chengde boasts unique comparative advantages such as an excellent ecological environment, distinctive geographical conditions, rich cultural features, abundant natural resources and sound carrying capacity, with broad prospects for the development of green industries and huge potential for cooperation.

During the meeting, Chairman Li Yong held in-depth discussions with Zhou Zhongming, Deputy Director-General of the Standing Committee of Hebei Provincial People’s Congress and Secretary of the Chengde Municipal Party Committee, and Cui Wanfeng, Vice Mayor of Chengde City, on issues related to Chengde's investment advantages and project cooperation, and reached broad consensus. Both sides agreed to conduct in-depth research and analysis on the docking of specific projects to promote the success of project cooperation.

After the meeting, Chairman Li Yong and his delegation, accompanied by Yu Shan, Magistrate of Luanping County, Chengde City, conducted field inspections of projects in Luanping County including the prefabricated building industry, logistics industry, Chinese herbal decoction pieces industry, food science and technology industry, agricultural science and technology industrial park, and the innovation and entrepreneurship industrial park. Both sides agreed to further advance the docking of the above-mentioned projects and strive to select high-quality projects to land and carry out cooperation as soon as possible.
