All Employees of Chinayong Group Actively Participated in Donation Work for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Which Won Widespread and Consistent Recognition

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Li Yong, Chairman of the Group, resolutely implemented the decisions, arrangements and specific requirements of the CPC Central Committee and actively responded to the initiative of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), took proactive steps to assist in epidemic prevention through various channels, and demonstrated his responsibility and dedication as a CPPCC member. 

After the COVID-19 outbreak, the Group established a Leading Group for Donation of Anti-epidemic Materials, with Chairman Li Yong personally serving as its leader, responsible for donating funds and various anti-epidemic supplies to the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19.On January 28, shortly after the COVID-19 outbreak in Hubei Province, Chairman Li Yong, on behalf of the Group, donated 10 million Yuan (RMB) to Hubei Province for epidemic prevention and control, making Chinayong Group one of the earliest enterprises to donate a substantial sum of money to Hubei for anti-epidemic work. In late February, Chairman Li Yong learned through the Heilongjiang Provincial Headquarters for COVID-19 Response and Assistance to Hubei that the provincial medical team aiding Hubei was in short supply of anti-epidemic supplies, and immediately assigned special personnel to be responsible for purchasing anti-epidemic supplies. Starting from February 23, the procurement team of Chinayong Group conducted meticulous screening and strict quality checks, selecting the latest disinfection product – “photocatalyst-based long-acting indoor disinfection and air purification agent”, adopted by frontline hospitals such as Wuhan Leishenshan Hospital and Huoshenshan Hospital. In accordance with donation procedures, the team contacted the manufacturer in Beijing to coordinate the ordering of goods, and on February 28th, the procurement was completed with 10 cartons, which were shipped to the Heilongjiang Provincial Medical Team Aiding Hubei stationed in Xiaogan. Meanwhile, after multiple efforts to raise resources, the group also purchased 800 sets of high-grade medical protective suits in two batches, and delivered all of them to the frontline personnel of the Heilongjiang Provincial Medical Team Aiding Hubei stationed in Xiaogan on March 4. On March 12th, the Group further made a targeted donation of 400 sets of high-grade medical protective clothing to the Heilongjiang Provincial Medical Team Aiding Hubei through the Xiaogan Municipal Headquarters for Epidemic Prevention and Control in Hubei Province.

In addition, on behalf of the Group, Chinayong successively donated a large quantity of protective and medical supplies, including masks, protective goggles, medical protective gowns, long-acting disinfection and air purification agents, and medical-grade alcohol-based waterless hand sanitizer - to entities such as the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the People's Government of Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, the People's Government of Xiaogan City, Hubei Province, the Hubei Provincial Special Police Bureau, the Hunan Provincial Special Police Bureau, the Department of Transportation of Sichuan Province, the CPC Guang'an Municipal Committee (Sichuan Province), the Heilongjiang Provincial Public Security Department, and the Xiluoyuan Sub-district Office of Fengtai District, Beijing, thereby contributing to the national epidemic prevention and control efforts.

At the same time, the Group's series of donation efforts won widespread praise from all sectors of society.On March 6, Heilongjiang Daily published and Heilongjiang TV Station released special reports on the donation efforts of Chairman Li Yong and his group to Heilongjiang Provincial Medical Team Aiding Hubei; on April 30, the Group received a Donation Confirmation Certificate from the Central Party School of the Communist Party of China (CPC); on May 21, the Group received a Letter of Thanks sent by the Heilongjiang Provincial Headquarters for COVID-19 Response and Assistance to Hubei. Although these acknowledgments were delayed due to the epidemic, they greatly encouraged all members of Chinayong. Chairman Li Yong stated: "We made these donations neither for fame nor for profit, but simply to have a clear conscience!"
