On the morning of July 22, Chairman Li Yong led a delegation on a business inspection tour to Zibo City, Shandong Province. Ma Xiaolei, Secretary of the CPC Zibo Municipal Committee, Shandong Province, cordially met with Chairman Li Yong and his entourage at Qisheng International Hotel in Zibo. Secretary Ma Xiaolei first extended a warm welcome to Chairman Li Yong and his entourage on their arrival. He introduced Zibo’s urban development strategy, industrial transformation plan, and supportive policies for investment promotion. He pointed out that Zibo is making every effort to advance the transformation and upgrading of the old‑industrial city, while continuously fostering a market‑oriented, law‑based and internationally-oriented business environment. The Research and Industrialization Project on Key Technologies for Large‑capacity Box‑type Substations newly landed in Zibo aimed to tackle technical bottlenecks in new‑energy grid‑connection, build a complete closed‑loop industrial chain of "generator manufacturing ‑ power transmission and distribution equipment ‑ new‑energy application", and help Zibo foster an industrial cluster for smart‑grid equipment. Upon implementation, the project would further raise the localization level of new-energy power equipment, boost the development of high-end equipment manufacturing in Shandong, and would be of great significance for promoting the optimization and upgrading of Zibo's industrial structure and realizing the carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals, with remarkable economic and social benefits.

In addition, Chairman Li Yong led a delegation to inspect Shandong Huineng Electric Co., Ltd. He visited its workshops, earnestly learned about the production procedures and techniques of its products, made detailed inquiries about the products' technical features and functional advantages, and provided on-site guidance on the production and operation of Huineng Electric. Rong Qingyu, Chairman of Huineng Electric, expressed sincere gratitude for Chairman Li Yong's guidance and assistance.
