Chairman Li Yong Made a Special Trip to Bo’ao Forum for Asia Headquarters in Beijing to Meet with Secretary General Li Baodong

On March 14, 2019, to thank Bo’ao Forum for Asia and Huayong Group for their good cooperation over the years, Chairman Li Yong, as a platinum member and a member of Expert Consultation Committee of Bo’ao Forum for Asia, made a special trip to Bo’ao Forum for Asia headquarters in Beijing to meet with Secretary General Li Baodong, the two sides held cordial and friendly conversation, and reached broad consensus on future cooperation.

Chairman Li Yong first reviewed the vivid experience of attending Bo’ao Forum for Asia and the care of successive secretariat leaders of the Forum for him and Huayong Group. He said that, with the help of Forum annual meeting and various activities, he has broadened his international vision, timely grasped the pulse of global and Chinese development, and expanded his circle of contacts. Since the change of Forum director, the innovation and development of all aspects of work had provided members with rich and pragmatic services. In the end, Chairman Li Yong expressed full confidence in the future development of Forum, and he would continue to actively participate in Forum activities and support the development of Forum.

Li Baodong, Secretary General of Forum, said that the development and growth of Bo’ao Forum for Asia who started from scratch cannot be achieved without the long-term firm support of “old members” such as Huayong Investment. Members and partners are the fundamental force for the development of Forum and the main service object of Forum. The new Forum council attaches great importance to the work of members. The secretariat will provide members with services of more diversified forms and more practical contents, making the members’ value of Forum more valuable.

After the meeting, Chairman Li Yong presented a gift to Bo’ao Forum for Asia on behalf of Huayong Group – an elegant “ruyi” made of Vietnamese silkwood, which implied that the future development of Bo’ao Forum for Asia and its cooperation with Huayong Group would go well! Zhang Chunhu, Executive Vice President of the Group, Xie Shoufeng, General Manager of the Legal Department, Zhao Fazhong, General Manager of the Planning Department, Guan Haiyun, General Manager of the Public Relations Department, Zhang Linran, Secretary of the Chairman, Wei Lili, Deputy Manager of the Administrative Department and other officials accompanied the meeting.
