Chairman Li Yong Attended the Second Session of the 12th Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and Was Awarded the Conference’s Outstanding Proposal Award

The Second Session of the 12th Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was convened in Harbin from January 13 to 16, 2019. Chairman Li Yong attended the session as a Member of the Standing Committee of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the CPPCC and was awarded the Conference’s Outstanding Proposal Award for his "Proposal on Improving and Optimizing the Business Environment of Heilongjiang Province". His other two proposals, in the form of written statements, were fully included in the Compilation of Written Speeches for the Conference.

During the session, CPPCC members gave positive evaluations of the achievements in Heilongjiang Province's economic and social development over the past year, and put forward opinions and suggestions on continuing to wage the “Three Critical Battles”, further implementing the Rural Revitalization Strategy, deepening the supply-side structural reform, optimizing the business environment, and expanding opening up to the outside world. The session urged CPPCC organizations at all levels in the province, all participating units of the CPPCC and the majority of CPPCC members to rally more closely around the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, under the leadership of the CPC Heilongjiang Provincial Committee, work with unity of purpose, forge ahead with enterprise and fortitude, and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and greet the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the CPPCC with outstanding achievements.
